New interactive PCORnet® Population Insights Reports give researchers a closer look at the demographic and clinical characteristics of patients who received healthcare services at sites participating in PCORnet®.
PCORnet connects researchers with health data from everyday healthcare encounters with more than 50 million people nationwide. Through eight PCORnet® Clinical Research Networks and 77 partner organizations, the infrastructure supports large-scale, innovative, patient-centered health research.
The reports use detailed visualizations and interactive tables to help researchers and clinicians explore the populations and data available through the PCORnet infrastructure. These insights can inform study planning for observational research and pragmatic trials across a range of health conditions and healthcare settings.
Users can filter results by cohort and explore characteristics such as demographics, geography, care setting, payer, co-occurring conditions, and treatments and services. Results can be displayed as counts or percentages, and data tables can be downloaded from each report page for further analysis.
Initial interactive PCORnet® Population Insights Reports include:
- Network Characteristics
- Cancer
- Cardiovascular Disease
- Intellectual & Developmental Disability
- Menopause
- Sensory Health
Additional reports will be published as soon as they become available.
