Our work is made possible by the commitment of our funder.
The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) was established to fund research that can help patients and those who care for them make better-informed decisions about the healthcare choices they face every day, guided by those who will use that information.
The People-Centered Research Foundation (PCRF) is the Central Office for PCORnet, the National Patient-Centered Research Network. PCORnet has been developed with funding from PCORI. PCRF’s participation in PCORnet is funded through PCORI Award RI-PCRF-2017.
The Clinical Research Networks’ and Health-Plan Research Networks’ development and participation in PCORnet have been funded fully or in part by PCORI through individual awards, as has been the Coordinating Center’s participation in the Network. Details on individual awards can be found on PCORI’s website.
PCORnet®, the National Patient-Centered Clinical Research Network, is intended to improve the nation’s capacity to conduct health research, particularly comparative effectiveness research (CER), efficiently by creating a large, highly representative network for conducting clinical outcomes research. PCORnet® has been developed with funding from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).
